Bean broth soup

I have never seen mum wasting any broth. I was preparing Rosecoco Bean masala and I remembered the soup mum used to make with the broth.

Bean broth is highly nutritious and very tasty. Here is the recipe for the healthy and quick soup. Hope you like it. :)

Sodium 37 %
Vitamin A 6 %
Vitamin C 10 %
Calcium  8 %
Iron  20 %
Protein 9 Grams
Sugar 2 Grams



Ingredients
Bean broth (Any quantity you wish to prepare for soup)
Oregano (optional) 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Salt  to taste
Onion finely chopped 1/2 cup
Garlic grated  1 tsp
Olive oil  1 tsp






Heat oil in a pot and add oregano.












Add onion and fry till it gets transparent.













Add grated garlic and fry for another minute.











Add the broth and bring it to boil.












Simmer the flame and add salt.












Add pepper and boil for 2 more minutes.












Remove from heat and serve hot.










  • You can mash some cooked beans and add to the soup if you wish.
  • You can follow the same recipe for any vegetable or lentil broth.
  • If you like it spicy, you can add chopped green chillies before boiling.
